12 calendar pages will highlight the
Persian Legends, Tales, and Myths.
The artists’ renditions will
reflect the diverse artistic and intellectual atmosphere that makes this
calendar a vibrant and significant task.
The
Call: We need your help to make it happen!
We
need artists who would like to create their unique artistic
interpretation of Persian Legends, Tales, and Myths and donate
the right to print it just once in Children of Persia 2009 Calendar!
The
Rewards: Good deed, Recognition, Publicity, and Visibility!

The Details:
- Fabrication:
The calendar will be consisted of twelve artwork in full color.
- Artist
Submissions/Selection:
• Artists
should initially submit their work that would reflect one of the
themes. • Based on the appropriateness of submission, the Art
of Iran Art on Call Committee will
choose up to 12 artwork to participate in the Children of Persia
annual calendar (2009). Artist
submission does not guarantee participation in project.
- Artists
may submit one or more artwork.
- Final
submissions will be reviewed and approved for use by the Committee.
Artist submission does not guarantee use of final artwork for
project.
- Media:
Artist may work
in almost any media, including, but not limited to: paint/pencil,
collage, photography, sculpture, digital (no video, please). Artist
will be responsible for submitting the final artwork in an
acceptable format.
The artwork should be submitted as a high quality for offset
printing.
- Payment:
No payment will be made to Artist in exchange for the creation of
original artwork and use of the image of the artwork for the
calendar. Artist will retain all rights and ownership to original
artwork.
All reasonable efforts will be made to protect the copyright of the
artwork.
- Deadlines:
Initial submissions must be received by August 31, 2008. The
project will be developed throughout 2008.
